The Brand
Los Angeles Cowgirl was founded in October 2021 out of a passion for sparkles, western fashion, and standing out. Blending in is boring and simply not an option for our Cowgirlies. They capture attention wherever they go and are the life of every party!

The Founder
Heather Kelly is a designer and dancer who was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan. From a young age, she demonstrated her love for individuality and self-expression through dance and the creation of unique items. Whether she was dancing, knitting, rhinestoning, or painting, Heather was always tapping into her creativity.
In 2013, Heather moved to California to attend Chapman University, where she graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance. Following her graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance. Heather's impressive dancing credits include music videos, commercials, Broadway performances in Tokyo, and tours with notable artists such as Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Kid Laroi, Chris Brown, Tyga and Two Friends, as well as work for brands like Dick's Sporting Goods and Capital One.
While building her dance career, Heather also pursued her passion for fashion. After working with celebrity fashion stylist Brad Goreski, she was inspired to start her own styling business called "Head2toe HK."
In the summer of 2021, Heather crafted her first rhinestone cowboy hat to film a country dance video. She showed it to her friend getting married soon and she loved it, so Heather ended up gifting it to her for her bachelorette in Nashville. Once they were there, everyone they passed went crazy over it and Heather's friends convinced her to start selling them. The rest is history! Heather continues to embrace her love for dancing, dressing up, and crafting. Her passion for originality and creative expression through art and fashion remains as strong as ever.
